I was challenged to create a 3-dimensional sculpture of a sunset. Here is what I came up with using CD discs and jewel-tone CD storage cases. Titled “Memories of Texas Sunsets” it’s 17” high by 14” circumference. 

The inspiration came from photographing our gorgeous evening sunsets and storing them on CD discs labeled Jan-Mar 2007, etc. With every intention of painting sunsets until the cows came home.
